Miniloc Island. The 'Island of the Gods' features dramatic cliffs and hidden lagoons, which are just around the corner from the resort, easily accessible by kayak. The unique rock formations in the island lend an aura of mystery and excitement. More than half the beauty of El Nido is underwater, which makes snorkelling a great experience. There are more than a dozen snorkeling sites in the island. El Nido is about 430 km southwest of Manila and about 238 km northwest of Puerto Princessa City, the capital of Palawan province.
